LoreType is designed to learn as little about you as possible. Free-test answers and progress stay in your browser. We do not require an account.

What we process

For free tests, scoring happens on your device. If you choose to buy a report, your answer choices are sent once to our server so we can verify the result. We immediately reduce them to five dimension scores and a type ID; the raw answers are not stored.

Payments

Stripe processes payment details and may collect your email for receipts. LoreType stores the Stripe checkout identifier, payment status, amount, experiment price, type ID, dimension scores, and a hashed report-access token. We never receive or store your complete card number.

Anonymous product events

We record limited events such as quiz started, quiz completed, share created, checkout opened, purchase completed, and refund. Events use a random browser identifier and do not contain your full answers.

Retention and deletion

Unpaid test progress remains on your device until you finish, reset, or clear browser storage. Purchase records are retained as needed for receipts, fraud prevention, tax, refunds, and legal obligations. Contact privacy@loretype.co with the email used at checkout to request access or deletion where applicable.

Your choices

You can use the free test without providing an email, clear saved progress at any time, decline payment, and avoid sharing your result. LoreType is for adults 18 and older.

Service providers

We use hosting infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and an email-delivery provider for report links. These providers process limited data under their own privacy terms.

Important boundary

LoreType is entertainment and self-reflection. It is not designed for medical, psychological, educational, legal, credit, insurance, or hiring decisions.
